We aim to provide a home from home style day care experience where your dog will be treated like part of the family!
Whilst we welcome all types of pooch, we specialise in providing a calm, happy and stress free environment. Offering plenty of comfy places to curl up quietly either with company (doggy or human) or by themselves, but also the chance to mix with other dogs and give them ample opportunity for play and fun if they want it!
We understand that not every dog is the same and some of them need a little extra care, or a more peaceful environment which the average day care can’t always provide. With a choice of comfy, quiet spots available to your dog, as well as plenty of experience dealing with older, quieter and more vulnerable dogs we are able to give your beloved pet everything they need for their time with us.
Whether you need a few hours or a full day, we can help with our Doggy Day Care service! In a home environment we can provide a warm, comfortable place where your dog will be welcomed as part of the family no matter how long or short their visit.
Day Care available weekdays only (Mon-Fri).
With lots of doggy day cares to choose from, we always aim to keep our prices as competitive as possible and of course offer that extra attention for the older dogs in your life which gives us a unique approach beyond the average day care facility.

"Molly, our 8 year old little rescue miniature schnauzer, who is anxious around people absolutely loves going to Odi’s Oldies. Beth was amazing with Molly from day one. Molly dashes enthusiastically from the car straight in to Beth’s without looking back. Beth sends us photos of Molly enjoying her stay and we have no worries knowing she is having a great day with the other dogs.
If you are looking for a caring home for your older dog then we thoroughly recommend Beth and Odi’s Oldies." - Carol & Elaine
"If you’re looking for doggy daycare that gives your pooch the extra special care and attention then Odi’s Oldies is pawfect. Reggie was settled from day one. The personal touch that Beth provides leaves me feeling at ease every morning, and I’m delighted to pick up a happy dog at the end of the day." - Claire
"My dog Minnie can be very fearful of people but she loves Beth so much! She is amazing with her and I trust Beth without a second thought. I can see her natural ability with dogs, she always goes the extra mile. Minnie and I think she is the best!" - Dayna
"I can’t recommend Beth as a dog sitter highly enough. Her genuine love for all dogs and her warm and welcoming nature make all who meet her feel instantly at home. She went above and beyond to accommodate every need of my very needy, anxious, destructive and not to mention escape artist dog. I was provided with regular updates and had no doubt that Shuie was loved and cared for every single day. I wouldn’t have trusted anyone else to care for my girl. Odi’s Oldies has been created from a pure love for dogs and is the safest and most nurturing place for special pets." - Kate
"Beth has looked after our little Chihuahua Pickle for years and has always done so, with great care and attention. Pickle can suffer with separation anxiety but gets so excited when I drop her off. Beth is wonderful and treats her like one of her own. I can relax knowing she is in great hands. Beth is a reliable, caring and patient person and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her." - Kate
Dogs have always been part of my life and I have always been an animal lover, from family pets growing up, to professional dog sitting, but when I decided to travel across the world and volunteer at a dog rescue in Indonesia, I had no idea how much dogs would become so important to my day to day happiness!
I worked at the shelter for 6 months, treating those in need, loving and caring for those that didn’t yet know how to trust a human and of course playing with dogs and puppies of all shapes and sizes, and at all levels of ill health and disability. The resilience and spirit of these beautiful animals in the most awful of circumstances never failed to amaze me and give me a fulfilment in work that nothing else could ever come close to.
When I returned home, I made the decision to rehome a rescue dog myself and that’s when I found Odi. A sorry state of a mongrel from the streets of Romania, he was underweight, his coat was in terrible condition and he’d suffered with a major prolapsed bowel meaning his diet was restricted. He came to me, timid but trusting and possibly the softest street dog I ever met! It was love at first sight <3
Unfortunately within the first year of being with me Odi developed glaucoma and over the course of the following year, lost his eye sight and both eyes ultimately had to be removed. Having had a blind dog in the family historically and having worked with numerous blind dogs at the shelter, I knew this was merely the start of a new chapter in mine and Odi’s journey.
In order to help Odi gain confidence and get back out enjoying walks it was recommended to me to get him a puppy (honestly the puppy was for him!!) and this is when Rufus joined our little family - a Yorkshire terrier from the mean streets of …Hereford?! With bundles of personality and confidence Rufus has truly given Odi a new lease of life and I know he’s happier than ever!
I am fortunate enough to have always worked from home since having Odi, however there have been times when Doggy Day Care would have been a life saver for those odd occasions when I’ve needed it. Due to Odi’s disability I have never felt comfortable with the thought of day care, as they generally seem to be lots of young, playful and excited dogs that I know he wouldn’t be able to enjoy fully and of course he also needs that extra level of attention that would not be possible at your average doggy day care.
This was my inspiration for deciding to open my own Day Care, taking my love for looking after dogs, dog training qualification and my knowledge and experience with older, disabled or just more timid dogs and using it to help others in a similar position.
Odi’s Oldies is a home away from home, with all the attention, love and creature comforts your dogs deserve!
